<p>How good are public speaking classes? I am thinking of taking some next semester at my college (Washington University in St. Louis). Has anyone gotten noticeable improvement from such courses?</p>
<p>It really depends on your professor and also your ability to begin with. </p>
<p>For me, I already had really good speaking skills going into the class but gained a lot of insight about speech organization. You learn just as much about that as you do actually talking.</p>

<p>I'm taking one this semester. So far I have a great class, with a great teacher, and so far I would definitely say its my favorite class. However, I don't get too shy in front of crowds so it might be different for others, but usually I would say most of my class enjoys going there every time.</p>
