I am an aspiring Aerospace engineering major. I have already been accepted into Embry-Riddle, Florida Institute of Technology, and UCF. I was just wondering what my chances could be of getting into Purdue Engineering. I am terrible at standardized tests. I have a 26 ACT with a 29 in math and science. My GPA is around 3.66 but its has increased, as Spanish 2 and 3 significantly hurt it early on in high school. I have multiple outstanding references letters as well as many extracurricular activities on my resume. Lastly, I have taken all upper level math and science classes throughout high school and have faired well in all of them.

I’m not familiar with the admission requirements for Purdue but honestly I think you’re being a little hard on yourself. It sounds like you’ve challenged yourself in math and science and I think Purdue will respect that. As long as you have E’C’s that can distinguish you from other applicants I think you will be admitted. A test score can only go so far to describe you as a student. I wouldn’t worry too much about the ACT.
