For people that got into the Purdue Veterinarian Scholarship, what did your stats or extracurriculars look like in high school? Any advice?
S17 wasn’t in this program but got into a similar one at Kansas State. His background ECs were certified vet assistant with hours working as one, summer camp councellor teaching horseback and working with the horses, volunteer at a horse rescue, playing varsity polo (horse not swim), polocrosse, one year golf and football (changed schools after that year), and volunteer at a hospice. They liked that he had people experience and working with people in difficult situations as well as animal experience.
