Put these colleges in order?

I'm trying to rate these colleges in order by their liberal/conservative leanings. I'm posting this for my sis because she doesn't want to go to a "freak show" school but she also doesn't want to go to a religious school, so my guess is that somewhere in the middle would be best for her. I'm specifically looking at liberal arts schools in the Midwest that she'd have a chance at getting in to (above average student but not exceptional.)

I don't know enough about each of these schools to "rank them," but I'll try. Feel free to correct me. (And my intention is not to label these schools with one word - that's impossible- I just want to get a general feel for them.)

Scale: 1-10, 1=conservative, 10=liberal. Again, these are complete guesses.

Illinois Wesleyan - 6
Lawrence U - 6
Lake Forest - 6
Cornell - 6
Wooster - 7
Knox - 9
Earlham - 9
Kalamazoo - 9
Beloit - 9

You have had a few posts about the conservative/liberal leanings of midwest LACs. At this point I think that your sister should start to visit some schools and see for herself what schools and what environments allow her to feel most comfortable. She may want to visit some schools that are not LACs as well in order to better understand the variety of choices.

Yeah - she’ll do what she wants because she’s very stubborn, but I’d like to give her a list of colleges to check out.
