The box falls into the MyUSPS grey area. It is not in fact a box. It is officially designated a “large flat envelope”.
What is a large flat envelope? You may ask.
A Large Flat Envelope is the only mail type that is not automatically tackable.
The two options with auto tracking are:
-
package: as I’m sure you all know, but package != Large Flat Envelope, so no dice.
-
letter: ‘ahah!’ You say, ‘I am the smartest and have found the way to track this! It is a letter!! I will even be able to see that it is from USC!’
And to you, foolish hopeful sole, I say:
You fool: the only way this will work is if you re recieving a rejection (not confiremed, but I’m pretty sure every letter shows up here)
This was obviously done purposely. USC wants you to have a hellish multi day wait. I suspect they would sooner start their own postal company than allow you to escape your fate.
So, C.O. 2021: no, you can’t see it.
All future classes: unless something changes, neither can you. Use the gosh darned USPS site for info before you come asking here though.
