Quebec

Hey everybody! I am a Quebec Public High School Student (Grade 11 ; Secondary 5) who's interested in studying in the US. I'm starting CEGEP (Social Science program) in the fall semester and I still got 2 more years before I start university. I'm mainly aiming for Princeton, Harvard, Yale and Williams College (they offer need-blind financial aid for international students).

I have a 96% average and I'm part of the Student Council, the School Council, the Yearbook, the School Paper and the Youth Help Club and some others which I consider less important. I also volunteer a bit. I'm probably going to be valedictorian of my class.

I haven't taken my SATs yet and it really frightens me because my first language is French and I'm not used to taking tests in another language. Plus, my vocabulary isn't at it's best and I'm worrying A LOT about that.

I have a few questions...Do I have a change of getting in, even though I'm from Quebec and French is my first language?
Does it improve my chances of setting myself apart from the pool of applicants, or am I just like the rest?
Is there anybody here from Quebec whose first language is French and who got accepted to those schools?
What should I do to build up my vocabulary and my grammar skills? Any tips?
What about the subjects tests?
Do you think I have a chance of getting in?

Well, I think that's it. Thank you!
