QuestBridge Chances?

I know people get tired of these, but someone very rudely asked me if I was really low-income, which made me worry a bit.

My unweighted gpa is 3.75, weighted is 3.84.

I’m in the top 20% of my class

My parents both did not finish their college degree, so I am first generation.

My act is 31.

I got a 5 on ap psych, 4 on ap Lang

My courseload senior year is:
Honors precalc
College French 4
College human body systems pltw
College chemistry
Ap bio
Ap seminar
Ap literature
Leadership(a class at my school based on planning assemblies, dances, basically everything behind the scenes)

I’m involved in HOSA, French honor society, French club, stuco, key club, and hopefully nhs this year.

I have about 60 hours of community service.

I did a 80 hour medical internship this summer at a local college

My parents are divorced. It was sloppy and rough. I didn’t see my father for a year, and there were periods I was sleeping on others couches to avoid home, or out of necessity.

My mother makes about 50,000. She also supports her boyfriends 2 children, however there is no legal guardianship, so I do not qualify for reduced lunch. My mother has no assets in her name.

My father makes around 70000, I think? He supports my brother, who doesn’t speak to our mother. My father does own his home, but is still paying it off, and still owes over $100000. Also, my fathers job is prone to laying him off, so there is often long periods he’s claiming unemployment. He was recently laid off for a month due to an incident at work without pay. My father has severe chronic back pain, and so he should be retired early due to disability, but can’t afford it. I have to help him out when he’s in too much pain to do daily tasks, and keep track of medical needs.

Both of my parents are under substantial debt.

I work 20 hours a week and supply nearly everything in my day-to-day life: car, clothes, food, school, sending money to my grandmother, etc. The rest goes towards savings.

I’ve been to 3 high schools. My high school doesn’t have IB. I couldn’t take AP at my previous schools due to price. My grades suffered my freshman and sophomore year due to stress and unstable living conditions during my parents divorce. My junior year however I had a 4.0 with 2 AP and 3 advanced or college classes.

My parents estimated yearly contribution to college is $1500 max.

I feel like my reccomendations are strong, and I write good essays, its just my gpa is low.
