Was it enough for you to commit to that school?
My daughter was accepted to some very fine QB schools via RD. Her financial aid packages were amazing. For most of the schools, I believe the package was the same as if she had been matched. She is going to Stanford and her cost is the summer contribution and work study.
Sorry for the late reply. My daughter was accepted to one QB partner school (waitlisted at another) with a generous financial aid package. Covered her entire tuition and some of the other costs. She will have work study, but she will have some federal loans, and she is receiving a small amount of aid from an outside scholarship.
We feel very blessed that she is able to attend that school because of the grant aid provided. So, not the exact same package had she been fully matched, but very generous nonetheless.
My D was accepted into a QB school with an aid package that allowed her to accept. She is also a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarship, and unfortunately her QB school isn’t working well with the foundation to allow them to bridge the gap in funding for her/us. It’s still workable due to the flexibility and creativity of the foundation with their aid, but I may have tried to nudge my D toward a school that had a better relationship with Jack Kent Cooke if I could go back and do it again.
