<p>is there a good possibility that i can get into the top boarding schools that have a 25> acceptance rate if i can get a 95% on the ssat, great interviews, steller recs, steller essay, about 200 hours of community service, play lacrosse, football and basketball very well(JV for a year and varsity the next two years), play viola well but have a 84 8th grade average and a 90 average for the first 9th grade marking period. I'm an African American boy in NYC and I live with my mom. I will apply in 9th grade and try to attend in 10th grade. the schools i am talking about are:
Deerfield, exeter, andover,hotchkiss,lawenceville, taft,peddie, choate, LOOMIS AND NMH

<p>You have really good EC’s, especially for sports! Have you won any special awards? If so, be sure to mention them. Your grades aren’t looking too hot for these schools. You should really start working on them. Everything else is excellent, though! I’d expect most schools to consider you very seriously because of your athletic abilities.</p>
