I was interested in applying to the IBE program but cant find a straight answer about how to declare a secondary choice if I'm not admitted to the program
Lehigh's website says you may indicate which college you wish to be considered for regular admissions (Engineering or Business) if your not admitted to IBE but doesn't say how. However, in the Lehigh supplement on the common app website, if i pick IBE as a program choice, I can select a focus in either business or engineering. If I were to choose business as the focus, would that mean I indicated that I wish to be considered for regular admission to the business school if not admitted to IBE? Or vice versa?

I would contact Admissions tomorrow - they are just returning from a major power outage. I think you need to have your questions answered by an expert.

From what I remember, your understanding is correct.

You indicate IBE-Engineering or IBE-Business. If you are not accepted to IBE, from what I’ve heard from people who didn’t get it, your concentration is chosen as your major.

If you decide that business isn’t for you, it isn’t terribly difficult to switch concentrations as a Freshman, so don’t worry about it too much.

@Copaman: yeah thats what i figured

@mum: I actually did email admissions on Sunday but completely forgot about the power outages in that area till I read your post just now lol
