Question about BENG major.

Hey guys, I recently got into Bioengineering(Biotech) major at UCSD.
I really want to know more about the field and what exactly to expect from it.
Can someone provide an insight?

[Let me google that for you](Google). [Let me google that for you, again.](Google)

I’ve noticed you posted this question a lot in this forum. UCSD is a top ranked Bioengineering program, but one main advice I would give you is that you must definitely plan and work towards going to graduate school for this degree (M.S. minimum, PhD preferred), because at the B.S. level you don’t really learn anything.

to supergrad
I wanted to know is it really very hard to find a job with only the bachelors’ degree?

Most BME companies do not hire BME graduates with only a B.S.

Overall, a BME undergrad degree is fairly useless for getting a job in the industry.
