ok so what exactly is biomedical engineering? and is it a good major to get into medical school? and if i go to jhu undergrad, will that help more than going to cornell or some other good school undergrad? (i want to go to one of the best medical schools, either jhu or harvard)

Piece of advice: I see that you post a lot of new discussion topics – many where is you had done just a bit of searching you could have found answers. It is helpful when people use the search function on College Confidential or the Hopkins Forums before asking questions that have been asked quite often.

BME is like engineering biomaterials that can combat disease, preventions etc. Tissue engineering, for ex, is BME.

BME is the most prestigious program at JHU. Its graduate school is ranked #1 in the USA by USNews Rankings.

BME will you get you prepared for medicine in grad.

O btw, since your name is cornell2016, I am assuming you want to go to cornell for BME? Go to JHU if you want to do stuff bio-related.
