Do they send out emails as soon as the decision is released? Or is it sent before/after? What is the time lag?

And secondly, is it true that they won't be accepting many people now?

I can’t access WA so could someone please answer my first question? Also, are emails sent out only to accepted students, or do rejected/waitlisted students get them too?

If you can log into WA, your decision is there. Go to application status, and then view decision.

Waitlisted. =O

That isn’t true, Antagonist. I still have nothing.

Results are out. Sadly, Im waitlisted. Does anyone know the chances of getting off the waitlist? Is it good or bad?

waitlisted

Question: which school within UMich did you guys apply to? I see the link for “View Decision,” but I’m terrified of clicking it…

I applied for Arts and Sciences, undecided

I still don’t have the “View decision” link!!!

is it normal to be like that? Any idea when I will see it?

I applied to Michigan on 11/1/09 and got a deferral letter in December. As of today, April 16th, I have not yet received a letter or any kind of update on WA. Anyone else in this same position? Is no news, good news or bad news???

Waitlisted.

If you haven’t received any link yet, its probably good. 99% of those who got their decisions on the 15th are waitlisted/rejected.

FWIW I applied for engineering.

yea, me too

Not necessarily true! My son got his decision on April 15th and he got accepted. Don’t give up hope :)
