Question about Differential Equations Textbook

For those of you who are taking or have taken DiffEq - the textbook that is 'required' says that it includes a CD. I can buy a used copy of the book, but most often the sellers say it 'may not come with CD'. Was this CD really used by your instructor?

The CD isn’t required

Thanks, do you think the earlier edition of the text book would suffice, or are the professors sticklers about having the edition that the bookstore wants to sell you? They are requiring 2nd edition

I would suggest getting the edition that they require.

You don’t have to get it if you don’t want to, but they wont give you any mercy if the problems they assign aren’t in your version of the textbook.

Just buy the required edition off of Amazon. If I recall correctly, it was one of the cheaper books that I bought.
