Question about disciplinary history

When you do the common app and you get to the Disciplinary History section, what does the second question mean? I can say that my answer to the first part about school is a no. However, the second answer confuses me. I was arrested a month or so ago. I know that it was a felony, shoplifting. Yes I know it was stupid I am never going to do such a thing ever again, but that isn't my question.

My question is how do I answer the question if I haven't been convicted yet? I have not been to court about it yet and I'm a minor (under 18) and still will be when I apply to college.

They ask: "Have you ever been convicted of a misdemeanor, felony, or other crime?"
You said: "I haven't been convicted"

There's your answer.

I think shoplifting is a misdemeanor. You weren't convicted though, so don't put it down. And a lot of states have diversion programs and alternative forms of resolutio for first-time shoplifters so it's very possible that you never will have to answer yes to that question.
