<p>I'm accepted at Oxford and waitlisted at Emory. I'm going to pay my deposit to Oxford, but if I get into Emory, I'm going to Emory. So the question is: if I get into Emory, does my deposit with Oxford transfer to Emory? Or do I have to pay a new deposit?</p>

<p>^ if you pay your deposit at Oxford they are going to cancel your name from the waitlist at Emory, it’s what they tell me at the admission at Oxford. Maybe the best for you is to call the office Monday and make sure you will still be on the list at Emory if you enroll at Oxford…they told me the opposite… i know it’s confusing.</p>

<p>If you pay your deposit to Oxford College, you will have to pay another deposit to Emory College if you get off the wait list and decide to go. Emory College and Oxford College, even though they are under the Emory University umbrella, are two different entities with two different admission process.</p>
