Question about fafsa household size

I have a question , my mom and I currently live with her friend because my mom has been unemployed for a year and a half and she can't afford rent in new york. The FAFSA asked about the household size and they broke it down on who is considered a family member...

How can I show that we live with this person? or should i not at all? I'm confused ... HELP !

The household size refers to who is a member of your Mom’s household. It does not mean who is living in the house, but who your Mom is financially supporting. Unless your Mom is providing more than 50% of this friend’s financial support (which it does not sound like she is), the friend is not a member of your Mom’s household.
