Hello, I’m so sorry as I may seem a bit dumb asking this question. I calculated the net cost on the UCLA calculator and it states my EFC is $10,583 and I receive no grant aid but it says in “other aid” I receive $60,729. So when it calculates the estimated net cost, it says $60,729. Does that mean I will receive no financial aid?
Does it gave the name of the source of the “other aid” source? It should indicate a scholarship, Parent Plus Loans, etc?
Are you an out of state student? If so, UCLA gives NO institutional need based aid…at all.

sounds like you’re OOS and UCLA will offer your parents a HUGE Parent Plus loan.
Since your EFC is only about $10k, obviously your family can’t afford to borrow $240k for you to go to UCLA.
If you’re OOS UCLA offers zero financial aid. So, yes, if you get in, you’re expected tobfiot the whole bill yourself, and if you can’t it’s not their problem.
If our EFC is 10,000 and your stats are possible qualifiers for UCLA you need to apply to 'meet need ’ schools such as Pitzer, Whitman, Davidson…
