<p>So, if I am admitted (+pending final results) into the BSc Biol, Biomed & Life Sci freshman program, but waitlisted for the BSc Phys,Earth,Math&Comp Sci freshman program, will it be harder to major in mathematics if i don't get into the latter program? What exactly do these freshman programs mean?
Also, does anyone know how it is like to be a mathematics (pure) major in McGill?

<p>what about the students? I heard there is a whole “student undergraduate math society” in mcgill? Don’t those people do pure math?
I sort of feel like in undergraduate school, students are more important than the profs for math because in any college, for the first 4 years, the curriculum is going to be the same…</p>
