Question about GPA. thx

<p>Hey guys</p>

<p>My gpa s**ked in my freshman year. I got 3.3.</p>

<p>I re-applyed another school and got 4.0 as a freshman. I know that i could not start over that i required to hand in all my transcript.</p>

<p>I am now considering about transfer to U chicago , columbia ,nyu. </p>

<p>And my SAT is 2340.</p>

<p>Did my 3.3 gpa really hurt a lot for me to transfer to columbia, colleges of this level?</p>

<p>Because I noticed that on columbia website, gpa below 3.5 is not acceptable.</p>

<p>wouldnt your cumulative (combined) gpa be somewhere between 3.3 and 4.0, then?</p>
