Hello,
I am currently a junior in high school with a 85.16 GPA. I am the President of my class, play sports year round, and participate in numerous clubs. I take all honors and AP classes and have not taken the SATs yet. I know I am a smart kid I just have not applied myself the first half of high school. Ivies and most top colleges are obviously out of the picture. My question is that if I attend a college such as Rutgers and work my butt off there would an Ivy League consider someone from a college like Rutgers for Grad School? Would I be better off going to Rutgers for my first two years and then transferring to a better school to finish my Bachelors? Thanks !

I know someone who got into Harvard Business from Michigan State University. All you have to do is apply yourself and pull off a great GPA and test scores and colleges will somewhat turn into high schools in admissions, i.e. not mattering as much as personal performance.
