Question about junior year courses

Is taking Honors Pre-Cal, AP physics 1, and AP statistics manageable? I’m more inclined towards math subjects and I enjoy them the most and while I’m decent I’m not the best of the best at math. Ik the difficult varies between schools but I want to see what other people think about the course load. All my other classes are on level classes and I’m just wondering if I’ll be able to balance everything with school and extra curriculars. If I would have chosen regular statistics I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to take AP statistics because that’s how my school works for some reason. But since I selected AP statistics I won’t have the doubt of wishing I took a more advanced statistics class and my school gives us 2 weeks to drop an AP course so if I feel like I can’t manage all the classes I can just drop AP statistics. 2 weeks is not a lot but at least it’s something. I plan on doing accounting in college by the way.

AP statistics is not generally considered a highly difficult course.

Difficulty of your schedule depends on your entire schedule, and what your previous schedules were like and how difficult you found them.

It really just comes down to what you believe you can handle. Have you taken this heavy of a workload before, and if so how did you do? If you can I do think it would look very good on your transcript. I am taking a college level statistics course right now and it is easy, but combine that with your physics class (notoriously difficult), pre calc, and your other classes it may seem like a lot. If you choose to not take statistics I think it would be smart to opt one or more of your classes to be at least honors. On the note of dropping a class, depending on your school it can show up on your transcript as a drop, and a lot of colleges view a drop worse then a B or a C so be very sure if you choose to drop any course.

How well are you doing in math so far?
Your schedule sounds reasonable, especially for someone hoping to go into STEM.

Assuming you’ve successfully managed through Honors-level courses, this seems very reasonable. AP Physics 1 is roughly an Honors science course and AP Stats is an easier AP course, also similar to an honors-level course. (They are very different than Physics C and Calc AB/BC).
