<p>Hey guys! I'm currently a senior in highschool, and plan to apply to Stony Brook University. I haven't looked too much yet into the university, so I'll definitely be looking things up in the near future. However, I have a question about the school term. Usually, when does school start and close? As in, what week of what month? </p>

<p>Stony brook for this term is starting as of August 31st(move in for freshmen is 3 days before on Friday next week, the rest are the day after on Saturday), it is ending somewhere around December 22(depending on when you end up having finals).</p>
