<p>My daughter is applying to the school my spouse and I attended. My spouse graduated- and I am one class shy of a degree.</p>
<p>I want to know how terrible it is for my child that her app shows both parents were accepted, but only one graduated?</p>
<p>My spouse feels this will hurt her. I just need to know what others think.</p>

<p>Your daughter will be evaluated for admission primarily based on her own strengths and weaknesses, not her parents’. The fact an applicant has legacy relationships can only be a plus or a neutral, never a minus.</p>

<p>Then only count your spouse as legacy. I don’t think having multiple legacy would have much additional impact. Just make sure the school actually consider legacy or not. Some don’t.</p>
