Do you think it would be better to take a more creative approach to the penn supplemental or simply talk about how I would pursue my passions and interests at Penn? Do you think the admissions officers at Penn really care about how I write the essay? Do they just want to know explicitly what I would do at Penn and don’t really care about how the essay is written?
Unless you have a hook, definitely go the creative way. Think about it: There’s thousands of applicants with stats that are identical if not better than you. And then they read thousands of essays, most of them very similar. Set yourself apart!
