I don’t know! I’d love to hear from people that went over the limit significantly and still got in. I’m really worried about my 1032 word count, I wish I could go back and edit it.

Yeah, Me too. I wanna go back to change my spell error.

Ah well. Life’s a *****, and then you die.

Just spoke with UCLA admissions lady, and she told me that it shouldn’t matter in any way if you went over a little. She said that 32 words should be fine, but 40-50 is pushing it. I also E-mailed UC Davis and they told me that “Going over the limit will not affect your admission decision.” So, I think we’re ok.

i think the limit is 1090 or 1099 or something. but by going that far u kinda demonstrate that u r incapable of working within restrictions set forth by authority. i would advise not to go over 1020

Well despite what you think, I just spoke to the admissions person and she said that it doesn’t matter, unless you write so much that the words get cut off. So, while I agree with you just as an extra precaution, the fact is it probably doesn’t matter.

Well, I pushed it then. Honestly I can’t imagine them rejecting someone because they went a bit over (even 50 words).
