Question about returning to school full-time

Hello all! I need a bit of advice. I have changed up my plans quite a bit and I think I have a new better plan. I would like to finish Business school and then go on to law.

I have been working full-time and going to school part time. I am 29 years old, so I want to get this school over with! I have made good money the past few years, so haven't been eligible for grants.

I previously lived in San Antonio, have really good friends there and great attorney contacts for the future. I am considering a couple of private schools there. Also, the cost of living isn't outrageous, like my previous hope of NYC.

I think I will qualify for at least $10K in merit scholarships, and going in as a junior would qualify for $12,500 in loans, I just have one question, after quitting my job, would I be considered for grants? I will have some savings when I go there, but I just want to make sure I don't have to dive back in the full-time work pool. I also plan to work part-time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You may want to contact the financial aid offices at the schools you are interested in attending. I work at a state U & we do NOT consider voluntary separation from work to attend school full time to be a special circumstance - 2009-10 aid is based on 2008 income unless the school adjusts income through professional judgment (special circumstances).
