<p>Correct me if I'm wrong, but colleges that use the common app take the highest score for each subject regardless of sitting but for UCs they look at the best individual sitting which leads me to the question: is it true that the writing section isn't really considered? If so, should i submit a sitting with a lower total score, 60 pts, but a higher math+verbal score?</p>
