<p>Is it necessary to keep applying for scholarships each year when you are a returning student who is a recipient?</p>
<p>You don’t need to reapply for the automatic awards from the school (presidental, UA scholar, etc). They are automatically renewed for 8 semesters. </p>
<p>You can continue to apply for other scholarships to cover other expenses. There are some available from the honors college and campus organizations, as well as outside scolarships.</p>
<p>Thank you, do you know how I find out about those honors scholarships? I am also wondering if there are sorority scholarships.</p>
<p>Go to your MyBama account and click on the “academics” tab.
You should see a list of scholarship categories.
