Question about SDSU Acceptance

Hi, Guys

So today I was looking at my application status and beside Admission Status it says pending. I submitted my grades through the fall semester and it says received for everything except for my foreign transcript which was sent in today via mail (USPS). And my deadline for that is March 01,2017. The thing I am confused about is will I know if I have been accepted or not after they receive my foreign transcript? Because for my Final College Transcripts it says required and have “x’s”. My real question is will I get to know if I have been accepted after the foreign transcript or do I have to wait till they receive my final grades?

SDSU will accept you provisionally upon evaluating your foreign transcript. Once you are accepted and decide to enroll, then your final transcript will be required to be submitted when available to keep that acceptance.

@Gumbymom Ok thank you! I sent the foreign transcript today and should be there by next week. So I will probably get an answer some time near the end of the month I’m guessing. CSU Fullerton and Dominguez hill accepted me without the foreign transcripts though. When I login to both of those schools portals I get a Accept/Decline Option.

Will the accept/decline button for CSU Fullerton and Dominguez Hills allow you click on it and accept or decline???

For Fullerton when I click on it, it says that this option will be avaliable when I am accepted. And for dominguez hill when I click on it, it says I accept admission or I decline admission. @Gumbymom

Ok so not accepted at CSUF yet since accept is not an option. How come you are stating you have been accepted at CSUF? Thank you.

I really want to get into SDSU, the thing I dont like about the system here is that they dont take my foreign credits for classes like econ and accounting but they take my GPA !

@Gumbymom That was an accident, I thought since I had the accept/decline option that I got accepted. I guess thats not the case here. So only Dominguez hill as of now.

If you want to study in the US, then you have to deal with the system. Cal States were originally established to educate local in-state students so the system will always favor the target population.

Good Luck.

@Gumbymom Thank You, I already made it this far there is no way back.
