- If I'm self-reporting SAT IIs, so do I need to send the official score reports to every school I'm applying to? (Even the ones that don't need or recommend SAT IIs? I'm just afraid they'll think it's odd, seeing the self-reported scores on my common app but without proof of them.)
- Should I send official AP score results to every college I'm applying to? I've heard they don't really matter in admissions, but--I mean--surely they're worth something.
1)Yes Schools need the official scores sent to consider the SAT II in the admission process. Self0reported scores are not accepted.
2) If you did well, why not.
You can include the SAT subject test scores when you send the SAT scores, for no extra cost. And I agree that self reported subject test scores aren’t going to be considered.
AP scores I think are different. D self reported hers on the Common App but only sent the official score report to the school she is attending. I’ve read that at some schools the AP scores don’t even go to the admissions office, but rather to the registrar or someplace. So sending official AP scores for admissions purposes may be costly and also ineffective.
