Question about sending SAT scores

So on collegeboard it's telling me I have until Nov. 12 at 11:59 to send my scores to my schools of choice.

So when I choose the schools and click submit, what happens? It says the delivery time is a few weeks. The schools I'm applying to have a deadline of Nov. 30th for applications, so they'll get my scores before my app then?

And once I hit submit, is that it? I can't add any more schools to who I want my scores sent to?

You have up to four schools for free. Any additional school afterwards is $9.50. Do NOT pay for rush service because it's a waste of money; that's just rush delivery of the paper score. When you designate schools on your admissions ticket, they get the scores. You are able to view your score usually around three weeks after the test date. When you're able to view your score online so do the colleges, as they get it at the same time.

When you hit submit, the colleges get all your SAT I and II tests current and prior. You can always hit submit like recently I didn't think I was going to apply to UC San Diego and I didn't add it but I just applied as my safety so I paid the $9.50 and sent it.

I waited until the day I got my October scores to ask CB to send them, and they actually sent them a few days later. The schools I sent them to got them about 1 week later. I think as long as the schools with the Nov. 30th deadline know your November scores are being sent, you'll be fine. They won't make a decision until they get them, so just make sure you indicate on the application that you took the Nov. SAT. If you're using the common app. you can wait to submit it until you get the scores on the 20th and add them to the app. as well.
