Question about some Schools? Please!

I am currently a Junior at a small private school in Wisconsin. I am an honors student with a good GPA. I will be taking the LSAT this summer and believe I will do fine. I am very interested in Nova Southeastern, Chapman University, and Wisconsin Madison. Any feedback or information about those schools would be very helpful Please! Thanks!

Here are the 25th, (50th), and 75th percentile GPA and LSAT for each school:
Nova Southeastern: 2.81, 3.33, 148, 152 (2004)
Chapman: 3.00, 3.47, 154, 158 (2004)
Wisconsin: 3.30, 3.57, 3.77, 158, 161, 163 (2005)

I'm curious how you chose these 3 schools. Wisconsin is a top 50 school, while the other two are 4th tier schools (really bad). They're also in different parts of the country, but it's very important to choose a law school in the region where you want to practice law. For example, if you like LA, you should look at Loyola Law School. What kind of GPA do you have?

Yes, but those other two schools don't make any sense for an honors student with a good GPA.

Law at UCLA is really good too. I'm surprised it ranked 14th...

Chapman's on the rise and endeavors to be the top law school in Orange County (southern california). They're pretty good at attracting guest speakers too, I believe Supreme Court Justice Scalia was a guest speaker there this past summer. Someone told me that Chapman almost lost its accreditation a few years ago, but I'm not sure about that.

I also suggest applying to Loyola (better than Chapman) if you're planning to work in southern california but don't want to go to one of the top law schools.

You may already know that grads from Wisconsin or Marquette will be automatically admitted to the Wisconsin Bar. If you are interested in staying in the upper midwest, Wisconsin grads are very much desired in the Chicago - Madison/Milwaukee - Minneapolis triangle. Tops of the class are also recruited in LA, DC, NYC, and Boston as well as Chicago. S is a 3L with friends who will be scattered all over the country after graduation this May. Their clinical programs are excellent.
