<p>I have finished my application to West Point and I am still waiting to hear back from my MOC. I have recieved a letter from West Point saying that I am "fully qualified" and that all I need to get is a nomination. I was also told that I am officially on the governments "hurry up and wait" status. Does this mean that I have a LOA and will gain admssion if I receive a nomination? I appreciate any insight you may have to help clarify this for me.</p>
<p>You do not have an LOA. After you receive a Nomination you may get a “letter of encouragement” from West Point telling you that you are now eligible to compete for an appointment.
For now, you wait for a Nomination. After that you will wait for news from Admissions. Good Luck!</p>
