Question about the FAFSA?

So technically my father has custody, but I live with my grandparents full time and they're the ones who support me. So the question is, who's information do I put on the FAFSA?

Use the one that declares you on their taxes.

Have the grandparents been named guardians? Have they adopted this student? Too many unanswered questions to be able to give an answer. Where are the parents?

Last week you posted you live with your mother, or rather you live in an apt which is attached to your mothers house. You need to clarify your living situation.

Sorry about the mix up. I should have clarified. I do live with my mother. I was asking this question for a friend, I just thought it’d be easier to ask as if it was for me. His father and mother are divorced, his father has custody but has never lived with him. He has lived his whole life with his grandparents but they are not legal guardians. They support him financially with his father only providing insuarnce coverage.
