I decided to use the SUNY app because at the time I thought it would be much simpler to apply to all the SUNYs I was applying to.

However after paying for the application and completing the supplements it, I went to each college's website and it said I was required to send in one teacher/counselor evaluation sheet, I already have 2 on file at school but they are on the common app form.

So my question is, am I required to do the schools evaluation sheet because I'm using the SUNY app or can I send in the common app evaluation sheets which I have on file?

We only used one type of form (and don’t even know if our school, guidance or teachers ) jsut did their own thing anyway for all our apps… Sunys and Common App.

No one wants to or needs to write the same thing more than once.

Son applied to 15 schools, accepted at all so it is obviously not a problem.

Good luck on your SUNYs (son is at a SUNY and picked it as best fit and great program OVER OOS publics and all the privates he applied to. He is very happy at his SUNY!!!
