<p>And there's a lot of proof that Tufts Syndrome is on the decline at (ironically) Tufts.</p>

<p>To be more accurate, it's the perceived effect of Tufts syndrome that's been on the decline. Waitlisting high achieving students based on having credentials that would make them competitive at other highly selective schools is not practiced at Tufts.</p>
