My SAT score is recorded on my transcript and I'm just wondering if the schools I am applying to need it sent from the collegeboard directly, or if my transcript is sufficient. I just took the subject tests today so actual score reports from the collegeboard are being sent to Brown, UPenn, Princeton and Boston College.

The other schools I am applying to are Loyola University of MD, American University, and Carnegie Mellon. Do these schools need the official score report as well?

From my experience with two children’s college application processes, every college needs to have the SAT and SAT II scores sent directly from the Collegeboard, even if they are listed on your transcripts. If you arranged to have your most recent scores sent to some schools, all of your previous scores will go with them unless you use score choice. Any other schools that you have not ordered scores for will need you to do that.

depends on the college, I was unsure and emailed a college and they said they did not need to be sent from college board if they are on the official transcripts.
