Okay.. so I took the SAT in June and sucked at CR. (M- 780, CR- 620, W- 720)
I've been practicing and studying vocab words for the past month in preparation for the next SAT in October.. HOWEVER, the scoring in the PR and blue books is really confusing! It gives 100 point ranges.. If I get 6 wrong will I get a 670 or a 770?? I don't get it.

When I took SAT in June, I got 14 wrong and a score of 620..

Now, however, I generally get around 6 wrong.. so, what would my score be (within a range of like 10 points)?

Basically, what I want is for you guys to post your CR scores and how many questions you got wrong.

Yeah, I got 14 wrong on PSAT too and got a 58..

So I took another practice today and got 5 wrong! Woohoo! I'm getting the hang of this! Having a strategy and lots of practice comes in handy.
750+ here I come..

Also, I asked my friend how many she got wrong (she got 800).. she said 2 (in Jan.).

I got 9 wrong for a 690. The math curve for June 2007 was brutal...I got 1 wrong and got a frickin 780!!!??? Most times you can miss at least 1 and still get an 800.

It was a free response questions that I was almost positive I got right so I'm gonna rescore and hope for the best.

3 wrong for 770.
According to my SAS, one of them was a question 7 or 8, which could be one of the last vocab questions...which reminds me of that whole pristine/restricted/deterred/etc. debate on that thread. Maybe CB got the last laugh on that one.

No.. 780 for math is actually a GOOD curve..
You can never get one wrong and still get 800 for math.
On PSATs it was 1 wrong = 760.
So, 780 is actually really good. (Though I am also dissappointed with my stupid mistake.. 800 sounds so much better than 780).

Ah, so basically I need to aim for 4 mistakes or fewer on CR.. about 1 per section..
alright, I guess that's doable.. kind of..
