Question for a dual enrollment transfer...

Hello im a florida resident and legacy to UF

Anyways I go to Brevard Community College in florida and I was wondering if I have good chances as a transfer with these stats. Also Im a dual enrollment student ready to transfer as a junior while only a senior in high school. I have my AA degree.

3.84 GPA with hard classes: (AA degree requirements but the engineer route)

General Chem 1&2 W/ LAB
General Physics 1&2 W/ LAB
College algebra and college calculas.
American history
Humanities
Speech
Communications 1&2

Anyways I also have my high school grades and stats to back up.
high school gpa: 3.56 UW
3.87 W

SAT: 560 CR, 620 Math, 560 Writing
Composite: 1180/1600 and 1740/2400

AWSOME EC"S TRUST ME ON THIS ONE I JUST DONT WANT TO TYPE IT BUT THEY ARE QUALITY LIKE IM AN EAGLE SCOUT AND STUFF.

I want to go to a top 50 school and I was wondering my chances at some of these top 50's:

-University of Florida<-- first choice
-University of Notre Dame<--- second choice
-Penn state
-Purdue
-Indiana University
-UC- Davis,Irvine,San Diego
-UNC-Chapel Hill

your sat's are kind of low.. but i don't see why you wouldn't get into u of florida. notre dame and unc? doubtful.

:( darn. I thought universitys love kids with AA degree people who graduate high school at the same time.

you need to raise your SAT scores to be competitive as a high school student. you also need to figure out if you want to be admitted as a transfer or to matriculate as a frosh, because you cant apply for both. your chances may be better, one way or the other, but either way, you need to do two things.

research on your own about admission rates, and raise your sat score.

further: dont get your hopes up about the UC's, they're brutal to OOS transfers. they really are. but you have a good shot. a friend of mine, international, got into ucb with a 3.8.

Go to UF.

If I have things straight, you basically earned an actual Community College Degree while still in high school? You need to just go the transfer student route and take the SAT's over for better scholarship opps (don't rule out the ACT's, they might be easier for you)

Lawd have mercy.

I felt lazy just reading your post.

if they take you as a freshmen, then i don't think they accept all your credits since you will be admitted as a freshmen instead of a transfer

you also have to rasie your sat score

you need to be aware that some colleges won't even take transfer credits for courses completed before high school graduation

Thank you guys for the replys. Im going to transfer as a junior in college but added the whole high school deal as a hook. Anyways what are the chances at the schools listed?

if u apply as a transfer ull def get into unc

awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but the point is, you cant apply as a transfer because you just graduated from hs. so you are a hs graduate with an AA degree. you arent "transferring". so ull prob get into UF

exactly. So there goes my chances to UNC. But will people look higlhy about this? Only 3 people did it in my whole bro's high school in his class.

Its doesnt matter if its hard or not its the scarcity of people who do it henceforth I thought it would be a "hook" Whatever I guess not.

ouch........

dude, all honestly, work for two years and be like DUUDE LOOK AT ME I WORKE SO HARD IM SO POOR TO PAY FOR COLLEGE, SO I WORKED SO HARD.

ull get into harvard

UNC is extremely hard to get into as an OOS freshmen.
