Question for Course 5 and/or 7 Majors

<p>I'm thinking about doing a double major with 5 and 7, and had a question about the requirements/overlapping involved. I know for course 7 either 7.05 or 5.07 counts, but the course 5 requirements only lists 5.07. I made the mistake of not taking 5.111 until freshman spring, so I won't be able to take 5.07 until junior fall, which would put me behind for my bio electives. </p>

<p>So my questions are:
1. What are the pros and cons of 5.07 vs 7.05?
and
2. Will 7.05 work to fulfill course 5 requirements?</p>

<p>I think course 5 tends to be stricter with its requirements than course 7 does. The actual answer is really to consult your course admin and ask.</p>
