Question for those maybe more traveled than I

With all these posts about Greek life and how it dominates Vanderbilt and if you aren't Greek you will be miserable, etc., etc. I would like to pose a simple question:

What schools do not have a strong Greek system?

I've been to a fair number of college campuses. One of the first things I noticed about each and every one of them was the Greek system. It's big at Vanderbilt, I agree with that. But I guess I'm curious as to what schools people have in mind when they rant about how Vanderbilt is so much worse. It sure doesn't seem much different than other places I've visited.

I think the Greek scene is pretty minimal at University of Chicago (but not nonexistent).

My son almost went to U of C instead of Vanderbilt. The Greek scene was not part of his deliberation in any way.

Rice University - similarly ranked school, smaller population, 0 frats/sororities - their social system is based off Oxford’s residential colleges. Think of Griffindor vs. Slytherin if you’re a Harry Potter fan, except with less belligerent encounters across the houses.

Notre Dame doesn’t have a Greek system at all.

Yale does not have a strong greek system. The school doesn’t technically have any Greek life but there are still a few frats.
