Question: I added an extra SAT subject test on test day, will that test be scored?

To clarify. I signed up to take Math 2 and physics, which went very well. Spur of the moment I added literature, which was a huge mistake – I did terribly. Will the literature test actually be scored, since I did not yet pay for it? As long as I don’t send more money to the college board, will I have to worry about that score?

Yes it will be scored and yes you have to pay for it.

But what if I do not pay for it.

If you added it on, it will be scored and your credit card will be charged later. If you want to cancel the score, you would have to cancel every score from the day.

What if my credit card cannot be charged?

Are you trying to get out of paying? Is that it?

I am fine with the extra charge – I was not fine with my performance on the lit test, and would prefer if it wasn’t scored. Unfortunately, I was very happy with my physics/math performance, so I do not want to just cancel all scores. I am trying to see if there is a sort of loophole.

There really isn’t a point in trying to get that score removed. SAT Subject Tests are almost universally optional, and even then, I don’t think there is one school that requires that you submit ALL of your subject tests. If you don’t do well, you can just not send it.

@motodile georgetown requires all subject tests.

i received a notice as well saying that i wouldn’t be able to receive my score for an added test if i didn’t pay. so maybe if you don’t pay they won’t give it to you so it won’t count?? i’m sure they can’t just go to your credit card and charge because they request a check or fax or phone call i’m pretty sure.
