When it says "List all the books you've read in the summer..." and all the other "List" prompts, do they actually want you to list it out and not give a short description?
So like, can I just write:
1. "......." by ______
2. "......." by ______

I wrote mine out in a paragraph, with very brief explanations of each. like, “I read A because of B. I also read Q because of X.” etc

I chose to elaborate on three.

I actually asked one of the admissions directors this while I was visiting Columbia, and he said they just want the titles of the books/works. But I don’t think a short description for one or two would hurt. I didn’t even put line breaks in mine, and he said it was fine.

Mine was like:
The Cat in the Hat - Dr. Seuss, Twilight - Stephanie Meyer, etc

I asked an admissions officer, and she said to only list the titles of the books and the authors.
