Hi, I would like to know what programming softwares do GT teach in class? I've heard that CS 1371 is all about MATLAB but any other programs such as java, C#, or python? If so, when do you start learning the program?

Bump.

Any GaTech students out there?

As a Cmpe I used the following programs (im sure i left some out)

Math: Mathematica, Matlab, & Maple
Programming: C, Java, Html, Assembly Code

No need to be snooty!

CS 1371 - Matlab
CS 1372 - C (For EE and CmpE)
CS 1301 - Python (Non-Engineering Majors)

As for Java, IE majors take it. I don't know the number of the class though...

we'll it's not traditional programming but I did take it so...

Java for Cmpe/EE is CS1322

I've been seeing Maple around lately. I know what Matlab is, but what exactly is Maple?
