question, plz help!!

Hi everyone,
I love science and math, but I also love US History.
I thought the perfect combo would be an undergrad degree
in engineering and then heading to law school for Intellectual Property Law.
Would that be possible by going to caltech for undergrad?
because I know there isn't really a pre-law program at Caltech and my gpa would probably be very dismal.
But if there is a way, how can I go about it because I visited caltech and really loved it

Any suggestions are welcome
Thanks!

That would absolutely be possible. You can have any type of undergrad degree for law school, and then need some specific majors as an undergrad to be a patent attorney. The only question is whether you want to work as hard on your math and science as Caltech would require, as you would probably want a better GPA to have more options on law schools. However, i've always thought that law schools favor the LSAT score more than the undergrad GPA.
