Question

“For applicants to Columbia College, please tell us what from your current and past experiences (either academic or personal) attracts you specifically to the field or fields of study that you noted in the Member Questions section. If you are currently undecided, please write about any field or fields in which you may have an interest at this time.”

Can someone explain the meaning of this question please?Do they want I relate an experience of mine to my field of study? If so, what if I do not have any experience related to it?Thank you

Yes, it’s asking what experience you’ve had has attracted you to the major you applied under.
I’m sure you didn’t choose your major out of thin air, there has to be a reason you chose it. An experience doesn’t have to be something physical. Any thoughtful revelations or epiphanies can also be considered experiences. Just write whatever led you to pursue a particular major.
