<p>This is Priyanka from Andhra Pradesh. I have applied for UWC MC India the last year and I was not eligible for the age criteria. I decided to apply this year again , So I just wanted to know how many are applying this year? Just wanted to talk to them and share things

Ok so I’m applying this year and I will be going into my Junior year. I want to go to UWC more than anything in the whole world!! I love traveling and have traveled all across Europe and many places in the US and Mexico. I currently live in the U.S. I lived in Mexico in 8th grade and went to a all Spanish speaking school and all my classes were in Spanish, so l learned how to speak Spanish. While living down there I spent 4 or so hours volunteering at a dog ranch on my Sundays and I also helped out with an organization called Maringa Madres where poor women grew maringa trees and sold their leaves. I also helped at a orphanage down there and played with the kids and brought them lunch a few times. I was on the honor roll down there always ranked in the top 5 out of my grade and had all A’s. When I returned I entered a private Catholic school and got all A’s and 1 B+ my freshman year and I also played soccer. This year I run cross country, volunteer at a local hospital, am part of earth club, and St. Jude club where we help create fundraising opportunities for St. Jude children’s hospital. I also hope to play soccer again this year. So far I am in all regular classes (no honors) and have all A+s and have not taken the ACT yet. I’m trying to focus and work hard on my essay and short answer part of the application. What are my chances of getting in? any tips for applying? HELP!!!
