So I'm an international student from China, and I came here when I was a junior. Now it's about to graduate, 4 colleges offered me admission.
Here are my questions, if you guys would like to answers them, I will be SO APPRECIATE!
1. UMass Amherst said that I can't get into Computer Science major, but I can go there as an undeclared major. Is it a good decision to accept this offer? How risky is it to go to this college? How long does it usually take to get into CS? (I asked them, but still no response yet)
2. How much is the total cost of Penn State Erie? They only have such a thing called Tuition Calculator, which I don't know how to use. Also, if I go to Erie, is it hard to transfer to Park campus after 2 years?
3. How is the living expense of Boulder, Colorado, compared to Amherst, Mass? How are the people like?

I’ve heard that Boulder is expensive. I don’t know in comparison to Amherst though. Also the students at Boulder might be a bit of a culture shock for you but it is a pretty good school

Yes I heard that Boulder has a lot of white people, unlike California where I’m currently living at, has a huge diversity. I would like to go there because I wanna experience a “real” American life. But still, I’m worried about racist… LOL

I probably wouldn’t worry about racist at boulder since I would think that it’s a very forward thinking school. Colorado has some diversity in places like Denver but obviously no where near as much as California.

Boulder though, has a certain reputation… but so does California to some extent
I would just do some research and visit the campuses

Visit each college website and look for the total cost of attendance (COA) calculator. This will give you a lot of insight into the cost of tuition in relation to other costs such as room/board and transportation.
