questions about college of charleston

Magnolia's, Blossoms and Cypress are on East Bay and wonderful restaurants. Reservations might be a good idea. THey are sister restaurants, and Cypress is a bit more formal. Also The Boathouse on East Bay (further up) is relly casual and more moderately priced. Great Sunday brunch and nice dinners also. I have 2 kids at CofC and LOVE Charleston. The BEST restaurant is S.N.O.B. (Slightly North of Broad) and also on East Bay near Magnolias, but more expensive and reservations are necessary as they book early. The real good casual place is East Bay Deli....yummy and in between these other restaurants and campus. Very walkable city and my 2 kids LOVE it!

thanks, poohie57!

For everyone's info, CofC is putting alot of money into campus food. Apparently they don't want to be on Princeton Review's naughty list for worst campus dining:O

I am a senior intersted in applying to C of C and was wondering if anyone here has any insight on the Communications department. Is it a strong program? How are the classes and professors? Are graduates able to find good jobs with a C of C Communications degree? I have not been able to vist yet but the pictures look amazing and Charleston seems like a great city to go to school in. Does C of C live up to the hype?
